高含金量的作文比赛推荐-- 约翰洛克研究所（John Locke Institute）2021年全球作文竞赛 

约翰洛克研究所（John Locke Institute）致力于培养优秀学生具备作家的如下特征：独立思考、知识渊博、推理清晰、批判性分析和说服能力。作文比赛邀请学生探索学校课程范围之外的一系列具有挑战性和有趣的问题。

参加这个论文比赛能够积累知识，并提高论证能力。学生有机会由专家来评定他们的工作。所有评委由牛津大学的资深学者组成，评委将从每个主题中选择他们喜爱的作品，主题包括哲学、政治、经济学、历史、心理学、神学和法律，并从这七个主题中评选出“最佳论文”。

Q2. There is considerable excess demand for undergraduate places at Oxford. The admissions process rations supply by favouring cleverer students at the expense of others. Is this fair? Does it exacerbate inequality? What is the University’s optimal response to this scarcity?
